The documents in Series A of our information papers include information on how particular routes were evaluated, considered and, where appropriate, taken forward for further development. They outline the remit for Phase Two of High Speed Two (HS2), the development of the original scheme, and the subsequent acceleration and development of Phase 2a.
You will also find an outline of the strategic case for Phase 2a, including the economic benefits that are expected to arise from the scheme.
