The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Stolthaven Dagenham Limited.

This is a new bespoke waste permit application. The site intends to store, steam heat and transfer the below three non-hazardous wastes for recovery. The annual throughput is no more than 300,000 tonnes per annum. No more than 55,000 tonnes of waste to be stored on site at any one time.

  • 02 03 04 - Material unsuitable for consumption or processing - acid oil.
  • 20 01 08 - Biodegradable kitchen and canteen waste - food waste.
  • 20 01 25 - Edible oils and fats – used cooking oil and tallow.
