We are the Environment Agency and we run the River Thames navigation email update service.
How we use your personal information
By providing us with your email address you consent for us to email you with updates about closures and restrictions on the non-tidal River Thames and about the work of our Waterways team. We will keep your details until you withdraw your consent or for one month after we receive notification that your email address becomes inactive.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw your consent to receive these emails at any time by contacting us at riverthames@environment-agency.gov.uk. Please include the subject heading ‘unsubscribe’ and write whether you want to unsubscribe from all emails or only one type.
What we do with your data
We will share your personal data with our email service providers to allow delivery of emails about closures and restrictions on the River Thames and newsletters. These service providers are data processors.
We will not share or disclose any other personal data to any other party outside the Environment Agency without your explicit consent, unless we are lawfully able to do so.
The Environment Agency is the data controller for the personal data you provide.
