How to find the lock
Address: Tollgate Road, Culham, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 4NE.
From the A415 (Abingdon to Dorchester road), turn south onto Tollgate Road towards Culham village. Follow Tollgate Road south to the river.
From Tollgate Road, turn right to follow the path west to the lock. The route is marked on the map with a green dashed line.
Facilities
There is no car parking at the lock.
You may park in the public car park in Culham village.
Toilets are available at the lock during lock keepers’ hours of duty.
Where to fish
You may fish upstream of the lock along the entire lock cut (approximately half a mile).
You may also fish downstream of the lock beyond the bridge.

This site is available between 1 October and 14 March only.
You may fish from dawn to dusk at this site. You must show your permit to the lock keeper during the lock keepers’ hours of duty.
