How to find the lock
Address: Riverside, Egham, Surrey, TW20 0AA.
From the A308 (Old Windsor to Staines road), turn north at Egham.
From the A30-A308 roundabout, follow the footpath that leads left from the northbound slip-road of the M25. Turn left at the river and follow the towpath north-west and upstream to the lock.
From Runnymede Pleasure Ground, follow the towpath south-east and downstream to the lock.
These routes are marked on the map with green dashed lines.
Facilities
There is no car parking at the lock.
You may park in Egham where local restrictions permit. There is a public car park off the A308 road at Runnymede Pleasure Ground (approximately half a mile from the lock).
Toilets are available at the lock.
Where to fish
Cross the lock gates. You may fish from the far side of the island in the weir channel, downstream of the weir. This area is marked in red on the map.
