Details of the application

The variation will allow the operator to receive produced water containing naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM) from other oil and gas sites for re-injection into the oil reservoir which it is extraction oil from. The site’s activity is also covered by an installations permit BL9763IN.

The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Angus Energy Weald Basin No 3 Limited.
