Guidance on changes in operation (‘changes which may have an effect on the environment’) - to facilities regulated under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 (the ‘Regulations’). Explains how we evaluate the significance of a proposed change in operation and whether it is a substantial change (a change in operation which may have a ‘significant negative effect on the environment’).This guidance does not apply to radioactive substances activities.
