This revised improvement notice requires Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council to take steps to improve its special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) services.
It follows an Ofsted and Care Quality Commission area SEND report, which judged that there were:
- 3 areas for priority action
- 4 areas for improvement
This notice replaces the improvement notice issued to Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council in March 2025.
