     This direction has now been revoked following an Ofsted inspection in July 2023, and is no longer in force.

     This direction replaces the earlier statutory direction issued to Medway Council on 7 January 2020. The December 2020 report of the Commissioner for Children’s Services in Medway is also provided for context.
