In the Competition and Markets Authority’s (CMA) annual plan for 2015/2016, the CMA committed to review the use of its merger notice and initial enforcement orders.
The review sets out the findings on the use of these between April 2014 and December 2015 and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the merger review process for merging businesses.
