This document contains the following information: Review of the circumstances surrounding an application for naturalisation by Mr S P Hinduja in 1998.

The main conclusions of the report into the government’s handling of the application for naturalisation by the Hinduja brothers, are that the cases were handled properly and there was no improper pressure brought to bear by any minister. There is no evidence of any improper relationship between either Keith Vaz or Peter Mandelson with the Hinduja brothers.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
