The return on investment (ROI) tool brings together clinical commissioning group (CCG) data with research about the costs and long-term benefits of early diagnosis of colorectal cancer.

Local commissioners can:

  • see how their CCG is performing

  • calculate the difference that specific interventions could make to cost-effectiveness and patient outcomes in their local area

The report and user guide:

  • describe the most cost-effective local interventions, focusing on early diagnosis as well as other phases of the colorectal care pathway

  • show you how to use the ROI tool
