Jackie Doyle-Price, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Care and Mental Health), responds to Dame Christine Lenehan’s report ‘These are our children’. Dame Christine Lenehan is Director of the Council for Disabled Children.
The report makes 11 recommendations for practical action that can be taken to co-ordinate care, support and treatment for children and young people with complex needs involving mental health problems and learning disabilities and/or autism.
The response letter includes a table of action already undertaken or planned, corresponding to each of the review’s recommendations.
