HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) commissioned independent research agency, BMG Research, to undertake mixed methods research to better understand agents of wealthy customers and their views and attitudes towards HMRC Wealthy Compliance Group.
The research comprised of 30 in-depth interviews by telephone or video call and 500 survey responses by telephone and online.
The findings will be used to help HMRC develop co-operative compliance to support a healthy tax administration system.
