The Challenger Businesses Red Tape Challenge aims to further the UK’s position as a global leader in the development of new markets and new ways of doing business. It is about emerging, innovative business models that involve doing things differently, often enabled by new technologies, falling foul of regulations which were intended for another age or for another purpose entirely. This report explains the problems reported to government, and suggests new ideas for change and improvement, and presents the proposals for implementation.
