A letter from the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government and the Minister of State for Housing and Planning to all council leaders, announcing the first allocations from the Social and Affordable Homes Programme and additional funding to boost skills and capacity within councils.

The letter asks councils to increase their ambition for delivering new council homes and calls on each council to provide information to enable future targeted support.
