Biography
Angela Rayner was appointed Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on 20 July 2026. She previously held the same role between 5 July 2024 and 5 September 2025 when she was also Deputy Prime Minister. She was elected as the MP for Ashton-under-Lyne in May 2015.
