This document and its associated annexes outlines certain core rules and interpretations for implementing Industrial Emissions Directive Chapter III across the UK.

This document will have regard to the possible requirements of a revised National Emissions Ceiling Directive (NECD), which may be finalised by 2016. It also will have regard to the revised Best Available Technique Reference document (BREF) for large combustion plants, which may be concluded in 2015.
