Details

The Department has produced an updated provider checklist of 50 efficiency measures to help NHS Trusts, SHAs and PCTs to deliver safer, more cost effective prescribing.

The schemes cover issues including home care management, procurement initiatives, different ways to manage specials and managing medicines in line with NICE guidance.

The schemes are real life examples taken from many NHS organisations in England.
