Details

The  Race Equality Engagement Group (REEG) was established in March 2025 to address persistent racial inequalities and unequal outcomes across the UK, and to strengthen the government’s dialogue with ethnic minority communities.

This report documents the REEG’s first term, giving an overview of its establishment, core remit, and progress. It covers REEG’s programme of activity across 4 priority areas, including policing, access to finance, maternal and neonatal health, education and the transition to work.

This report features the lived experiences of individuals affected by race equality issues and case studies of the organisations working to create change. It also presents data and evidence on persistent race equality challenges.
