On 10 March 2026, the Department for Education published the Government’s response to the Post-16 level 3 and below pathways consultation. As part of this response, we are publishing a list of qualifications that will have funding approval removed.
The list informs education providers which qualifications of 1080 and above guided learning hours in T Level areas will have funding approval removed from 1 August 2027.
We are also publishing the equalities impact assessment for the funding removal and guidance for awarding bodies who may want to submit a notification against one of the qualifications due to have funding approval removed.
