This rapid systematic review aimed to identify and summarise evidence relating to the effectiveness of antibiotics to treat Panton-Valentine Leukocidin-positive Staphylococcus aureus (PVL-SA) associated bacteraemia.

This rapid systematic review searched for research published up to 13 September 2024. No published randomised controlled trials, non-randomised controlled trials or observational studies (case control or cohort studies) were identified looking at the effectiveness of antibiotics in treating PVL-SA-associated bacteraemia.
