DfE response to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request dated 12 October 2015.

It provides data for 2005 to 2014 on:

  • the number of pupils leaving school at the end of year 11
  • GCE AS exam results of those leaving school after year 11

The release also sets out data on the numbers of pupils being accepted into year 11, or leaving school after year 11 for:

  • academies
  • local-authority-maintained schools.
