Details

Some public appointments are made by the Prime Minister, or the Crown on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. Others are made by Secretaries of State or other ministers and are of interest to the Prime Minister.

Roles marked with an * indicate that the appointments are made by the Prime Minister, or the Crown on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.

In addition to these, the Prime Minister may identify other appointments to public bodies and offices made by departmental ministers in which he has a strong interest.

The Government’s priorities are regularly reviewed, and it is expected that appointments will be added or removed. The Government will refresh the list annually recognising the commitment to transparency.
