Letter from Jane Allberry, Deputy Director, Cancer, Cardiovascular, End of Life Care and Dermatology, about the Department of Health’s desire to invest in local pilot campaigns in order to promote cancer symptom awareness and encourage earlier presentation to primary care for a number of cancers and target groups. Bids of up to £100,000 are being invited and the deadline for submissions is Thursday, 4 August.
