Details
As part of Project Gigabit, Gigabit Infrastructure Subsidy (GIS) suppliers in England are required to fulfil social value obligations, which can include job and apprenticeship creation. As of July 2026, those suppliers reported that they had provided over 3,000 jobs, training and apprenticeships in England since August 2022.
