The Probate service was digitalised as part of the HMCTS Reform Programme. This analytical report presents descriptive statistics for the probate service, using data from mid-2019 to mid-2025. The findings include case receipts and disposals, digital uptake, case durations, case outcomes and variations by case and user characteristics. This report brings together a range of data sources, including administrative management information, protected characteristics questionnaires and formal complaints.
