As part of the Pride in Place programme, Neighbourhood Boards must submit a Pride in Place Plan, setting out your area’s overarching vision for change over the next 10 years, and how you will deliver it. This is comprised of a:
-
10-year vision: This will form the majority of your Pride in Place Plan. It should outline your local community’s vision for the future, with a clear plan guided by community engagement for how your Neighbourhood Board will deliver this change over the next decade. We have published an updated content checklist for your 10-year vision above.
-
4-year investment plan: This is a shorter and more technical form that you will submit to the department, focusing on your indicative interventions, payment profiles and declarations. We will publish further details of this in the autumn, ahead of opening the online portal for plan submission.
For Phase 2 areas’ Pride in Place Plans we have made some changes to simplify the information that we request, and to encourage areas to emphasise how they are meeting the core fundamentals of the programme.
Next steps:
Pride in Place Plan submissions will be made via an online portal, which we expect to go live in September 2026. Details of this will be sent to Phase 2 areas via correspondence, and updated on this webpage.
