Details

Public Health England (PHE) has developed an algorithm for receiving hospitals and clinicians in the NHS and the private sector to ensure that infection control and public assessment is applied where appropriate to medical transfers from overseas.

The aim of this assessment is to protect health care workers and the wider public from potential infectious disease threats.

Guidance for PHE centres on medical transfers from overseas is also available.
