This report details the trends in the most serious and significant pollution incidents reported to the Environment Agency from 2000 to 2012.

It provides more detailed 5 year commentary on the 3 sectors which cause the greatest number of serious and significant pollution incidents: the waste industry, water and sewage companies and agriculture.

Environmental incidents can be reported to the incident hotline.
