The Home Office commissioned the National Police Chiefs’ Council to:

  • review police productivity
  • provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness in policing

The Home Office worked with the police and other government departments to consider the recommendations. Read the government response to the Policing Productivity Review.
