Details

This guidance is for manufacturers of plug-in motorcycles. It explains:

  • the technical criteria that motorcycles must meet to be eligible for the plug-in grant scheme
  • how to register a vehicle to be eligible under the scheme

  1. The plug-in motorcycle grant has been extended until at least April 2025 for L3 motorcycles only.

  2. This guidance has been reformatted. The content has not changed.

  3. Guidance amended to reflect introduction of a new price cap of £10,000, as well as updates to the application process including alteration of whom to contact at different points in the process.
