This form is for those persons relying on the humanitarian assistance exception from the relevant prohibitions under the Syria (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019.
This humanitarian assistance exception applies where:

a person has received funding or economic resources from the UK Government for humanitarian assistance activity in Syria;
-
that person has made funds or economic resources available for the purposes of either:
-
purchasing, supplying or delivering petroleum products; or
-
providing the funds, economic resources or financial services in relation to those activities; and
-
-
the petroleum products are purchased, supplied or delivered exclusively for the purposes of providing a humanitarian assistance activity in Syria
You must notify your usage of this exception to the Department of International Trade’s Export Control Joint Unit (ECJU) using this form, no later than the end of the calendar year in which the activity took place.
