As part of its wider transformation, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is reducing its estate from 170 offices to 13 regional centres.

The People and Equality Impact Assessment sets out the action HMRC is taking to mitigate potential impacts of the Locations Programme, which includes additional support being put in place for employees.

It includes:

  • a summary of its approach
  • case studies
  • an assessment of potential impacts
  • action taken
  • planned action
  • diversity statistics

It has been developed with input from departmental trades unions, staff networks and staff workshops, and will continue to be updated as further action is agreed.
