The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Midwest Polychem Limited.

Regulated facility type
This permit application is for the operation of a non-hazardous plastics waste treatment facility. The treatment processes on site are manual sorting, shredding, heat treatment, granulation, extrusion and baling. Power generation on site is through operation of 5 Medium Combustion Plants listed under Schedule 25A of EPR.
