PE and sport premium: conditions of grant 2022 to 2023

Allocations for 2022 to 2023 and the terms and conditions that local authorities, maintained schools and academies must follow.

     We have updated Section 4 of all the Conditions of Grant which set out the terms on which the premium is allocated. This reflects the decision to allow unspent academic year 2022 to 2023 funding to be carried over into 2023 to 2024 academic year.

  2. 16 May 2023

     We have replaced the temporary allocation spreadsheet with a link to the funding service where users can directly access the information.

  3. 3 May 2023

     We have added a spreadsheet showing the updated allocations for academic year 2022 to 2023 .

  4. 23 February 2023

     We have updated October 2022 allocations to take into account new and newly eligible providers who will receive their first allocation.

  5. 4 November 2022

     We've added the conditions of grant documents for academies, maintained schools and non-maintained special schools.

Published allocations

We have published the link to the updated allocations for PE and sport premium 2022 to 2023 which replaces the previously published spreadsheet.

Conditions of grant

Schools and local authorities must follow the terms and conditions set out in the PE and sport premium conditions of grant documents.
