This framework sets out how monitoring and evaluation is delivered across the Office for Product Safety and Standards, demonstrating what OPSS is doing, and how those activities are delivering outcomes. Its core elements are:
- outcome focused story telling
- metrics to monitor and manage progress
- research and analysis projects to build evidence base for taking action
- evaluation projects to demonstrate contribution to outcomes
- assessment of value for money
