Details

The aim of the project is to better understand the operational requirements of flood storage areas to deliver desired standards of protection and how these might influence the biodiversity values that could be achieved.

It was commissioned by the Environment Agency as a response to the Pitt Review (2007) recommendation 27, to work with partners to establish a programme to achieve greater working with natural processes to manage flood risk.
