Details
The CMA has issued an open letter to private parking operators setting out actions they should consider taking to ensure their practices are consistent with consumer law.
The CMA is taking action to improve the experience of UK drivers when they deal with private parking operators to help ensure they are treated fairly when they receive and challenge parking charges.
We have particular concerns about the potentially unfair practices of some operators – including the way operators handle appeals and attempt to recover additional fees on top of the parking charge.
