The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) conducts test purchasing to check the compliance of products available to UK consumers from specific online marketplaces (OMPs). This targets categories of products that routinely appear on the OPSS list of recalls and alerts. While the results are published above, they are not representative of all products sold by OMPs and cannot be used for national estimates.
