An Ofsted inspector will write an outcome summary if a provider is not complying with requirements for registration and action is required to meet those requirements.

The summary will be available on the provider’s page on the Ofsted reports website.

  1. Guidance revised: Ofsted will no longer publish outcome summaries after an inspection (the inspection report will cover details of actions taken) and reports will be shorter, focusing on the breach of regulation and actions taken rather than the concern that was raised.
