Purpose 

Information regarding quarterly updates to Great Britain (GB) model health certificates for imports of animals and animal products, including one new health certificate. 

Background 

The quarterly updates to GB model health certificates were published on 30 April 2025. 

Trading partners will be required to use these new versions from 31 October 2025, though some may choose to use the new versions as soon as they are available on GOV.UK.  

Changes 

GBHC093X: Raw petfood for direct sale or animal by-products to be fed to fur animals from non-EU countries 

Version 3.2: 

II.2(d): “as listed in Annex II to that Regulation” replaced with “as set out in a document relating to ‘other fishery products’ published on GOV.UK, in accordance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/626.” 

GBHC434 COL/GEL–T/S: Raw or treated raw collagen or gelatine materials - transit or storage 

Version 1.2:

Notes for Completion box reference I.8: “Annex 1 and Annex 2 of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/626” replaced with “documents relating to ‘other fishery products’ and ‘bivalve molluscs, echinoderms, tunicates and marine gastropods’ published on GOV.UK, in accordance with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/626(†).”
