We aim to publish a new set of guidance by early 2025. Please continue to follow this guidance until the new guidance is available.

Government has published nuclear emergency planning guidance to help local planners, cross-Whitehall departments, Devolved Administrations and agencies carry out nuclear emergency planning. The Nuclear Emergency Planning and Response Guidance (NEPRG) is the primary source of guidance for local planners to enable them to write effective plans.

The guidance is published in five parts :
