Details of the application
The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from East Coast Waste Limited.

Regulated facility type
A new bespoke permit for the crushing and grading of construction and demolition waste and the shredding of waste wood.
Accepting 75,000 tons per annum of construction and demolition waste and 30,000 tons per annum of waste wood.
Construction and demolition waste will be crushed and graded within a high bunded area. Wood waste will be stored in concrete fire bays before being put into a wood shredded. No other wastes will be accepted or treated at the site.
