The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from UK (Rubber) Recycling Limited.

Regulated facility type

Physical treatment facility. The site proposes to accept, store and treat the following wastes for recovery: End of life tyres, plastic and paper & cardboard. They plan to operate as a physical treatment facility for non hazardous waste, there is no hazardous waste accepted. The operation will take no more than 75,000 tonnes per annum. All operations will take place inside a building and there will be no operations past 18:00.
