The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Marris Foston Limited.

New bespoke permit for a physical treatment facility for treatment of plastic astro turf with sand base and rubber sub-base, which has been removed from sporting facilities. Plastic turf will be cut to size and the rubber will be crumbed before being sent on for re-use. Annual throughput will be 20,000 tonnes.
