Household, commercial and industrial waste transfer station. Storage and bulking up of waste. No more than 10,000 tonnes accepted per annum with a storage limit on site of 96 tonnes at any one time. Wastes to be taken by site are: washed and screened ‘soils/grit’ from the bottom of anaerobic digesters for treating sewage sludge (approximately 80% of waste to be stored); concrete; brick; soils; tiles and ceramics.
