The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Patrick O’Brien.

Regulated facility type
Household, commercial and industrial waste transfer station. Storage and bulking up of waste. No more than 10,000 tonnes accepted per annum with a storage limit on site of 96 tonnes at any one time. Wastes to be taken by site are: washed and screened ‘soils/grit’ from the bottom of anaerobic digesters for treating sewage sludge (approximately 80% of waste to be stored); concrete; brick; soils; tiles and ceramics.
