Details

The Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP) and Advanced Nuclear Fund (ANF) were the UK government funds to accelerate the development and commercialisation of low-carbon technologies, systems, and business models.  

The report highlights advances across 10 priority themes from energy storage to hydrogen to advanced nuclear, and showcases how UK-led innovation is driving economic growth, regional development, and progress towards net zero.  

The programmes have played a pivotal role in making the UK a Clean Energy Superpower, supporting the transition from innovation to deployment and shaping new business models and supply chains for a net zero economy.
