We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
A breakdown in terms of numbers only of inspectors, sergeants, constables and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who are currently in the role of neighbourhood policing in England and Wales
We released the following information on 11 October 2011:
Since April 2008 there has been a Neighbourhood Policing Team in every area of England and Wales. Please see the attached PDF document containing a table for a breakdown of officers working in the Neighbourhood Policing function as at 31 March 2011.
