Various sections of the UK nuclear industry have sponsored, over previous decades, a range of significant epidemiological and radiobiological research involving nuclear industry workers.
The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) now owns and manages this work and contracts with Public Health England (PHE) to carry out further research in this area on these assets.
The NDA-PHE Epidemiology Governance Group provides independent governance and oversight of this work.
